AoA - Progress Report (13)

Barely staying afloat!

Moar player-dominant anims!

The progress:-
  1. ( ??%)  Voice set. Not sure what happened to our VA but she's been silent.
  2. (100%) Increased interval between enemy spawns slightly.
  3. ( 15%) BGM in progress.
  4. ( 80%) Boss-specific, player-dominant H-animations. (Reward for winning)
  5. (  0%) Boss-specific, boss-dominant H-animations. (Reward for losing)
  6. ( 80%) Credits story.
  7. ( 10%) Credits animation.

  1. (Oyea, first comment!) The new animations look exciting. I worry for your VA, though; I hope nothing bad happened to her and/or the progress of your game wouldn't be hampered by her too much (if at all). How fast do those progress numbers grow, by the way, Nony?

    1. We can function on the current library of voices, no it's not really hampering anything. I was hoping I could get her to make another voiceset but that's a bonus.

      AoA just needs more animation content to qualify as a H-game. That, and to properly wrap it as a game with some polished BGMs, and story (Intro and Credits)!

    2. Awesome! Nony, would it be possible to suggest H-scenes between the female boss and male enemies? It could be her idle scene if she's lost but the player is not approaching her yet. It would also be awesome to see H-scenes between the normal woman enemy and male enemies instead of them all having their way only with the player...

  5. Nice work! Glad you posted an update. Hopefully you can use some of the voice files for now for those sets of animations. Any tentative release date for the next update? Also, any way we could help support this project? What are your future plans? :D

    1. There's no tentative release date for next update. I'd like the next update to move towards a "presentable demo", that means proper BGMS with an intro that projects or teases a story (right now the Heroine just rips her dress at the start, which is not much of a projection of story).

      In addition to the above, we're gonna have more animations, mainly the boss-dominant animations. Hopefully we make good progress, and get said demo out latest by December!

      I'll write up a post solely on the future plans for AoA since we're getting close to the end now. Meanwhile stay tuned!

  6. More F/F omg yes *squeals* And I'm so excited to hear that there will be more animations for the game coming, boss-dominant and such. But please don't feel like we're rushing you on the updates. Take all the time you need to work on this marvellous little gem.

    Also, since we're nearing the end of this project, any thoughts about the next one? I'm sure you need a break afterwards though, it's just the sprite style and concepts are too good to leave as a one hit wonder.

  9. Hi friend, I have a question for you, is it about Labcrox and is it when we are going to have news about an update or if it is that you abandoned it? (I'm new) I'm sorry for my bad english

    1. THe assets are still in my PC. Everything is backed up so that I can get back to it as soon as Arena of Audacia is done (which is taking some time). HOWEVER Labcoax's codes are a complete mess. I will want to code again, this time being more organised than before.

  11. Are there still plans for a beast master type enemy with dogs like before? Or is that probably not happening anymore?

    1. The druid/beast trainer is still in the plans but I'm having a hard time squeezing him in the development time. Because beasts/dogs animations are incompatible with normal mobs, they'll probably be boss-only spawns.
